John Nash Solicitors is a law firm based in Loughrea, Co. Galway, Ireland. The practice was established in 1985 and has since enjoyed considerable expansion. Our main office operates from the centrally located Abbey Street in Loughrea.

It is our priority to develop a close and long term relationship with our clients by providing an all round proactive service in which the best possible outcome can be achieved.

At John Nash Solicitors, we act for a diverse range of clients which includes private clients, small to medium business, the farming community and sporting associations. John Nash

John qualified as a Solicitor in 1980 and has almost 40 years experience and practice in the legal profession. John set up the practice at King Street, Loughrea in 1985 with just one secretary. Shortly after, the practice relocated to where it currently stands at Abbey Street and employs 8 staff. John specialises in litigation mainly, but has vast experience in all aspects of conveyancing, both residential and commercial. John also enjoys making regular appearances in the criminal courts at District, Circuit and the Court of Appeal.

Aoife Nash - Nash Solicitors Loughrea, Galway
Aoife Nash

Aoife attended University College Dublin graduating in 2004 with a BCL (Honours) degree. She joined the practice in 2008 and advises on Litigation at all levels to include District Court, Circuit Court and High Court. Aoife specialises in Personal Injury Litigation to include Road Traffic Accidents, Fatal Injury actions, Accidents at work and public liability claims dealing with applications to the Injuries Board 'PIAB', applications to the Motor Insurers Bureau of Ireland 'MIBI' and manages a personal injury caseload at District Court, Circuit Court and High Court level.

She also advises on Defamation, Equity Litigation and Debt Collection for both Private and Corporate clients. Aoife also advises in the area of Employment Law and Family Law

Aoife also enjoys serving on a number of boards including Naomh Breandain Credit Union Loughrea, Triathlon Ireland, and the Constitution Committee of International Triathlon Union

Aoife Murtagh - Nash Solicitors Loughrea, Galway
Aoife Murtagh

Aoife attended University College Dublin graduating in 1995 with a BCL (Honours) degree. She joined the practice in 1998 and works as a Property Law Specialist. Aoife advises individuals and organisations in all areas of property law and has particular expertise in devising complex schemes for both residential and commercial developments.

Thelma Kelly - Nash Solicitors Loughrea, Galway
Thelma McMahon

Thelma McMahon studied at NUI, Galway where she graduated with a BA (Honours), LLB (Honours) and LLM (Honours) in Public Law. Thelma joined the Firm in 2011 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in 2013. Thelma deals predominantly with Probate, Conveyancing, and Civil Litigation matters and also holds a Certificate in Commercial Contracts from the Law Society of Ireland. Thelma has vast experience in dealing with Wards of Court applications and advising clients on Enduring Powers of Attorney.
